Constant Beast Mode! What a great feeling it will be to walk through that door! Thanks for sharing this journey with all of us. I know it’s not over but it has been very inspiring so far. Keep up the positivity!
This is THE BEST video!! What a journey you and your family have been on. Todays Homecoming will be such good "medicine" for all of you. Congrats on all of your hard work, perseverance and pure determination to get to this point.
ADAM - thank you for that, so amazing. I am beyond excited for the Feberwee family for you to get to this next part of your recovery. To be able to hug the kids and be around that amazing family will give you so much energy. Brace for a powerful afternoon! Love to all.
Very inspirational clip. Great to see so many smiling faces almost from day number one. Shows you again that “It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters”! Seems that you will be the one doing grocery shopping from now on; they clearly prepared you in the hospital for that. As they did for cleaning the house and potentially washing the car (“wax on, wax off”). On a more serious note, all the best man the coming months. It might not be always smiles, but if anyone can recover it is you! Talk soon!

Wednesday August 19th Mama’s Boy It was mom‘s turn to visit today. Another epic hug… More tears.... It was fantastic. 😭 Last time I saw mom was in the hospital in Sault Ste. Marie when she snapped this pic of a fine looking fella... Go figure… They start allowing visitors two days before I get out. 🤷♂️ I gave mom the usual tour, showing her all around my bachelor apartment. Close your eyes now if you don’t want me to spoil it for you… All part of the journey... Home while I healed. Well tonight will be night 42 in the hospital. My last night in the hospital. It’s the end of this part of my recovery. 6 weeks. Looking back, it’s safe to say I’ve come a long way. But I’ve still got a long way to go. I know that I’ll get there. I just have to be patient. ♥️💪 For the last time, from 4North… Goodnight! 😴
Wednesday august 5th Fluffy Cloud kind of Morning I’m not gonna lie… I’m pretty sore as I lay here tonight thinking about what to write. I had a really busy day of rehab that started with me finally getting on the upright bicycle. While it wasn’t the real thing, it sure felt great to do a little pedalling again.... 🚲 can’t wait to get on my bike again 🚲 Then it was time for some electromuscular stimulation… Time Lapse Soooo Good My OT and my PT were both busy this afternoon practising MFR and NDT on me....Let me explain. MFR is myofascial release , an alternative therapy were by they relax contracting muscles, improving blood, oxygen, and lymphatic circulation, and stimulatingT the stretch reflex in muscles. NDT is Neuro-developmental treatment, or the Bobath method, where are you have to learn how to control postures and movements and then progress to more difficult ones. I’m not sure I really know what I’m talking about....lol. 🤷🏼♂️ All I know is th...
Saturday August 22nd I waited a long time for this moment. A moment I’ll never forget. We all cried, we all hugged, we all needed it. Released back into the wild at 3:30 on Thursday afternoon... Jillian was there to take me home. From the moment I went into the hospital until the moment I left, she was always there when I needed her. I had the best welcoming committee there to greet me. The kids made the most amazing signs and cards… Aqua therapy has been fantastic! It has definitely been an adjustment coming home. More so than I thought it would be. The frustration of having to ask for help with everything. I mean everything. Definitely need to take time to rest. Gone from puttering around my hospital room, to having to navigate the house and yard. Friday: A couple of errands that HAD to get done on my first full day at home… Went to the DMV with dad 😒🙄 and LensCrafters to get some new reading glasses 🤓. Not sexy but like I said...
Welcome home, Adam! Going to be the best homecoming ever!
