Overall was a pretty good day… Definitely seeing some improvement in my left arm and hand. Walking continues to improve.  πŸšΆ πŸ’ͺ🦡🦢🀚

Let’s talk about hospital food for a minute… According to the hospitalist making rounds this afternoon, the daily dollar allotment per patient is $13.  $13 PER DAY!  3 meals for $13.  I think I was paying about $13 a day for lunch in the city at work.

Well here’s what $13 bought today… I think they might’ve even gotten some change back. πŸ˜‰

Breakfast (approx. $4.33)

Lunch (approx. $4.33)

Dinner (approx. $4.33)

The good news is that I was taken off the Cardiac Diet as of tomorrow morning… I’ll be dreaming about bacon and eggs all night. πŸ₯šπŸ₯πŸ§ˆπŸ₯“πŸŒ☕️

11 more sleeps... 😴 ....NO PROBLEM!
I can do that in my sleep...πŸ™„

We hope the kitchen staff are not reading your comments. You may end up with golf ball donuts three times a day :-)

  3. When I was laid up in hospital for several months, I discovered I could order special meals (eg: filet mignon) if I paid extra. Check it out.

  4. Those Sushi work lunches were well over $13!

  5. You can come home now. Trump says you're fine. This whole thing will just go away eventually.

  6. It’s definitely ironic that a nutritious diet is a cornerstone of good health and recovery yet in a health facility you’re served a lot of processed trash. If I were in your shoes I’d be looking forward to every vegetable and scrap of fibre you can get your hands on.
Keep up the great work and attitude old friend. Godspeed! ❤️
